The 3 Bulls (3 Treasure ) Story

Once upon a time, there was a farming village that received a large down fall of rain, which causes many roads and tracks leading into the village had become flooded and boggy. One day, a horse drawn carriage stuck while crossing the flooded roads. The horseman whipped his horse for hours, yet the carriage was too heavy and had sunk too deep to move forward.

He asked help from the farmers in the village. One farmer claimed he had a biggest bull and would be able to solve the problem. The farmer tied his large bull to the carriage and whipped him tyring to pull the carriage. After 3 days of whipping and pulling, not only wasn’t any progress, but the large bull had also sunk so deep into the muddy road that he too was stuck.

Another farmer approached the carriage with a fastest prize winning bull. The farmer tied his large bull to the carriage and whipped him trying to pull the carriage. After 3 days of whipping and pulling, the carriage was still stuck and the bull had collapsed into the muddy road because of exhaustion.

A third farmer came with his strongest bull in the village, who has won many prizes. The farmer tied his large bull to the carriage and whipped him trying to pull the carriage. After 3 days of whipping and pulling, the strong bull also collapsed into the mud, and the carriage was still stuck on the road.

After 9 days, the horseman had lost all hope that his carriage would ever become unstuck. An old yet wise farmer approached him and said “I have watched you over the past nine days. 3 bulls have died and you have still not thought of a better method.” “I have 3 bulls, they are not the strongest, fastest or largest and they have never won any prizes, but I think I can help you. So the old farmer tied his 3 bulls together and then tied them to the carriage. With only a few moments of whipping, the carriage finally rolled out of the mud.

The moral of the story:

· You may be the best bull in the village, but if you can’t get the job done then you are bull shitting. Sometimes, one method may not be able to solve the problem, but if you use 3 methods (Modalities), the problem can be solved much easier and quicker.

· We often see patients get treated with one modality at a time to save money, but the time multiply the money spent ends up much greater, yet no expected results achieved , just like in the story to use one bull at a time only. It appears to be a simple and cheaper option at the start. Sooner or later the patients will realise that they are not getting anywhere.

· At 3 Treasure team, 3 Modalities (Acupuncture, herbal medicine and Qigong) are always applied systematically to achieve maximum efficiency in the shortest possible time.

Q: Dr. Zhang, I got a miracle cure excellent result for my aged long symptoms, how long will it last?

A: It’s easy to expect miracles, but how long do you want the miracle to last? You would like it to be “indefinitely”!? with a question mark at the back showing unconscious disbelieve, which in turns will be manifested definitely! This 3 Bull story is an excellent metaphor to see how miracles can long last: but applying 3 Treasure’s health maintenance program with simultaneously herbs, acupuncture and Qigong, like the 3 bulls can not only save the carriage, but also power the carriage with long lasting power to any destiny of fantasy land.

Q: Dr Zhang, now I got the results what I came for. What should I do to keep it?

A: Please consult your team co-ordinator Acupuncturist, you will be given the best advice to maintain the good results.

Jirong Zhang: Lower Pain - Are You Suffering?

Friday, January 16th, 2009

Lower Pain: A broad term for pain in the lower part of the body, may refer to: lower back pain, pain in hip, knee, heel, leg and feet. (An explanation of Lower Pain by Jirong Zhang)

In Chinese Medicine, pain in the lower part of the body may all related to the deficiency of Kidney energy. The kidney meridian is a powerful meridian which governs th foundation of our body.

If you go to see a senior Chinese Medicine doctor in the village (imangine one with the long white beard and white hair, guessing age over 110) and complain about your: back pain, knee weakness and a strange pain in the heel from time to time, he may tell you the same formula will heal all your problems.

One of the very effective treatment for Lower Pain is Acupuncture or Acupuncture in combination of massage, cupping or other Chinese remedial therapies. You may say: I have tried them, but they don’t seem to work for me. I would suggest to you: try another practitioner. It’s not the treatment that does not work, it’s the particular practitioner who did not make the treatment work for you.

Chinese Medicine is a modality that the results of the treatment relies heavily on how the practitioner applies the treatment principles, skills and energies. It also lies on the energy links between the patient and the practitioner. If you are still suffering and did not get the results you want yet, just say “Thank you!” to your practitioner and try to find a practitioner that can help your problem.

The final advice is: don’t suffer! There will be a way to get you out of the lower pain.

I am always ready to take any medical challenge with my patients, and support you with any of your health dreams, e.g. save your knee from an uncandy operation; or getting up every morning with no pain. Jirong Zhang can not guarantee results, but I can guarantee I put in 100% of heart & energy in every case I deal with.

Chapter 1        The Universal Truth

In ancient times, the Yellow Emperor was a born spirit, even as a baby at a very early age he could talk about things around him, as a kid,  he could compete with any grow-ups in wisdom and strategies. After he grew up, he was sincere, wise, honest and compassionate. He was developed as a natural leader and become the Son of the Heaven – the Emperor.

He raised the question to the Heavenly Teacher “I’ver heard that in the days of old everyone lived one hundred years without showing the usual signs of aging. In our time, however, people age prematurely, living only fifty years. Is this due to a change in the environment, or is it because people have lost the correct way of life ? ”

Comments:
The question that Yellow Emperor asked 5000 thousands of years ago, today, I, Jirong Zhang, a Chinese Medicine practitioner, acupuncturist , herbalist , will also ask the same questions. Everyone in the modern world, I believe will ask the same questions.

Fortunately - When the right questions are asked, the right answers will come. In my next post, we will hear the answers from QiBo, the heavenly teacher who was then the minister of health for the Yellow Emperor.
